So I lost the rubber foot to my grinder. I email Capresso to see if they can sell me the part.

They're mailing me one out.

It's not a huge customer service area, but it just makes my life much easier.

Very nice of them... and great that you posted about it. Will make other's more likely to purchase from them too. After reading this I went to their website and am checking out their goods! I could use a new grinder...

Cool.

Does it just have a sticky backing? Like a sticker?

No, it's just a rubber foot that fits into a plastic housing. Nothing holds it in other than friction and the weight of the grinder

Now see Tom calls someone who can fix his problem. I on the other hand would stick a book of matches under it and bitch about the thing until I finally threw it away. Good job Tom.

I have had a semi-auto Capresso C1000 for years and LOVE it. It just got clogged up for the first time (my fault, i put some oily beans in the hopper with adjusting the grind).

I'm going to send it in for service but wouldn't hesitate in buying another if this one ever died.

That's a nice unit. I'm sure after a few years some servicing won't hurt

Tom, how do you lose the rubber foot on it? Did it walk away :dunno:

I pick it up to clean it out and it must have fallen into the garbage is my only guess
