I have done a fair amount of looking smoking and reading on cigars in the last months. Can anyone tell me exactly what the real diffrence is between a Ashton VSG and an Ashton VSG Cabinet really is? I have smoked both and they look and smoke almost identiclly so what is the real diffrence?

I hadn't noticed until someone pointed it out, but some VSG's say cabinet on them, I don't think think there's a difference

here are the two sticks, the one on the left says cabinet then below it it says VSG. I'm smoking one of the cabinet wizards right now.
I'm lost on this one!!!

"...you will notice that the bands on the above pictured cigars are not identical.
Ashton began switching over to a modified VSG band in 2006 that eliminates
the word Cabinet from the band, and makes the VSG moniker more prominent.
The cigars are identical, this is just a branding change...."

Ask and ye shall receive... I had wondered the same thing myself... VSG's, cabinets, and VSG cabinets?

Thanks Duane.
