BOTL Stock Competition

OK, here's the ground rules:
1. Comp. starts Feb 1. We will all start will $100,000 (BOTL money) (assuming Eric will reset us that have already purchased). No refills!
2. The competition will be done in 3 month segments. At the end of the 3rd month the winner will be whoever has earned the most (or lost the least :wink:)
3. The stakes are 3 sticks per person per segment. The requirement is: premium, hand made, long filler. Country and Price do not matter, however, lets keep a minimum price of about 3 dollars (ie, a Padron 2000), however be as generous as you please.
4. There is no limit on the number of contestants, however, to keep things simple, new contestants may only join at the beginning of each segment.

That's it for now, I am open to suggestions and amendments. Signs ups start now.

I use Yahoo finance to search stock symbols, I haven't had any problems

you can buy and sell all you want during the 3 months, you just can't have any new money "deposited"

I was hoping we could have some kind of contest. We did this in high school so when this mod was released I put it on the board. The only change I can think of is that everyone start with $50,000 or $100,000 instead. Makes it a bit more fun and variable. Everyone who plays will have to sell their stocks before we start and then I can set those players to the starting amount.

There's no reason why you shouldn't buy now since the market is closed. You can buy stock at anytime with our system in place. Gives the whole weekend for everyone to pick their stocks.
