Looks like I missed the LFD Double Ligeros today.
Gurkha Royal Brigade Weekend Extravaganza!
Offer Ends Sunday, February 25th, 11:59pm ET
Something noteworthy just landed at CI and I wanted to bring it to you without a moment's delay and I've hatched a diabolical scheme to ensure you can't refuse: a blockbuster 72% blowout offer! Wrap your greasy paws around the Gurkha 'Royal Brigade' - a bulbous 6"x60 handmade perfecto that booms out impossible amounts of flavor. The blowout offer is 2 mazos (12 cigars) for $49.99. That's 72% off retails for a super-premium that hasn’t even hit the retail shelves yet!
[... angelic singing from above ...]
Resistance is futile my friend! Upon first sight, even the most jaded of men are likely to take a knee and weep with joy. I'll cut to the chase and tell you what this blend really is: it's the Gurkha Centurian Double-X blend but it uses the Cameroon wrapper from Gurkha Nepalese Warrior. That's a killer combo, holmes. In fact it's one of the prettiest Cameroon wrappers I’ve seen - a dark, toothy, luscious leaf that’s thick and leathery yet smooth to the touch. Inside is the intoxicating mixture of Cuban-seed long-leaf tobaccos from the Cibao River Valley. These bold ligero leaves are supremely aged, resulting in a rich array of smooth flavors, deep in earthy and peppery nuances. Chewy in character, the finish is long and satisfying with a full-bodied finale. Only one size has been created: an extraordinary 6" x 60 Perfecto-shaped vitola that maximizes the character of the fine tobaccos at play.
$49.99 for 12 cigars - cigars that retail for $15 apiece mind you. I would waste little-to-no time elbowing in on the insanity.
Expires Sunday night!

Gurhka G3 are packed in indivual cedar sleeves with cellophane in Leather boxes of 20 fine cigars. Only 500 boxes were made of this one time production cigar. The G3 is probably the most complex cigar to bear the Gurhka name to date. This cigar delivers a full bodied taste with some of the finest tobaccos available in the world today.Nicaraguan Wrapper, Cameroon Binder with a mixture of 3 different Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.
The Gurhka G3 recently received an excellent rating of 88 in the December 2006 issue of Cigar Aficionado. Their review noted; "A dark cigar with a lovely oily wrapper. It has a fine draw, with a solid white ash. Its toasty and sweet. "

"Gurkha Signature 101 Maduro, 15 cigars only $39.99
Like other college basketball nuts, I spend most weekends in March falling in and out of consciousness in front of the tube as Cinderella contenders attempt to upset 800-lb gorillas. It's only fitting then that today the Cinderella story that is CI blows out a special deal on one of the cigar industry's 800-lb gorillas - Gurkha
Reserve a hand for an amorous grope of this deal, gents: 15 Gurkha Signature '101' Maduros for only $39.99. That's the true March madness.
The secret behind the Gurkha Signature '101' Maduro is the wrapper, a beautiful Costa Rican Maduro leaf that's toothy, oily and booming with flavor. This juicy wrapper is a perfect match for the well-aged long-filler combination, a complex mixture of Honduran, Dominican and Jamaican tobaccos.
Crafted into a shapely 6" x 50 vitola, the Robusto #4 serves up a medium to full-bodied smoke with dark, toasty, rich flavors and a touch of peppery sweetness on the finish. I'd rate this "highly enjoyable," well into "delightful" territory.
Bottom line: I could charge a whole lot more for this cigar because it's worth every red cent....but that's just not the CI way. So while they last, enjoy 15 Gurkha Signature '101' Maduro Robusto #4 cigars for $39.99 and save 81% off retails.

Good Morning CigarBid Members!
Just posted:
150 units of Cienfuegos Aged Piramide, a ginormous tapering vitola weighing in at 6.75" x 64. This juicy cigar employs a beautiful Habana 2000 wrapper and a supremely aged blend of Dominican and Honduran long-leaf tobaccos to release an enormous amount of deep, rich flavors. Enjoy this $15 super-premium from Rolando Reyes Sr. at a downright ridiculous price.
How ridiculous? The bidding starts at just $34.99 per unit of 12. An amazing sum, marked 81% below MSRP.

New! EL TITAN DE BRONZE
GRAN RESERVA CAMEROON
For several years now, we’ve brought you the finest cigars from Little Havana, Miami, home of the Cuban exiles and such famous brands as Tatuaje, Rey Miguel, Don Pepin Garcia, and Padilla Miami 8&11. Next to
the Pepin Garcia factory and the La Gloria Cubana factory stands a third premier cigar maker, El Titan De Bronze.
This small, exile family-owned factory makes one of the finest and most unique cigars that you will ever smoke. To this day, it is the only premier factory in Little Havana utilizing Cameroon wrapper on its cigars.
Medium to full-bodied and a little lighter than most Cubans, the exotic African Cameroon wrapper adds a touch of naturally aged sweetness that comes from 5 years of aging. The blend of filler is sophisticated and complex; the type of cigar that only a small, well–run factory can produce. The price of these beauties is a steal when compared to the prices of some of the other Miami cigars.
These are the type of exceptional cigars that disappeared from Cuba in the 1960’s and utilizes the type and quality of Cameroon wrapper that Partagas became famous for in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

New CI special on Gurkha Black Puro ...
http://www.cigarsinternational.com/html/spec_wkly.asp
5 Vegas Series 'A' Artisan, Mazo of 10, $20
5 Vegas Series 'A' scarcely needs an introduction. In fact, in all my years doing this, few brands have had an impact on CI customers like 5 Vegas, with its consistent quality, wonderful price points, and array of flavor profiles. The Series 'A' blend is a scrumptious little number released just 2 years ago, and already again this year it was rated Number 1 by an independent website in the category "Cigars Under $6." So imagine if it were only 2 bucks? Dream the impossible dream! Today's deal gives you just that - factory mazos of 10 for a mere $20!
Blended for those who enjoy robust, medium to full-bodied handmades, 5 Vegas Series 'A' is a Costa Rican maduro wrapped beauty, delivering an exquisitely rich and satisfying smoke. It burns slow and cool, allowing the cigar to gradually build into a fuller-bodied smoke while remaining smooth in character right down to the nub. The Artisan (5"x50) is a sparkplug of a robusto that explodes with a toasty richness, complemented by earthy notes and a subtle spice on the finish. Ask around, this Honduran-made blend is a masterpiece.
If you have not tried this blend yet, take full advantage of my introductory deal on these mazos of 10 for just $2 per cigar. You will not regret it, mon freres.

REY MIGUEL –
A MASTERPIECE BY PEPIN GARCIA
SAVE AN ADDITIONAL $30.00 PER BOX OR MORE
OFF OUR EVERYDAY DISCOUNT!
THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST CIGAR THAT WE SELL!
MADE IN LITTLE HAVANA, MIAMI
Universally loved, this might be the best brand I’ve seen in 20 years. Legendary cigar master Pepin Garcia of Cuban fame really outdid himself in the making of this cigar from his factory in Little Havana, Miami.
Rey Miguel is a very complex, medium to full-bodied cigar featuring a blend of aged tobaccos that create a Cuban-style, hearty, and robust smoke. The uniqueness of this cigar is the magnificent, smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that so gracefully covers and compliments the filler and binder. This creamy wrapper slightly tempers the overall strength of the cigar without sacrificing any of the flavor or body.
According to Pepin Garcia, these are even better than his beloved Cuban Cohibas, which he was responsible for in the 1990’s and received many international awards. Today, Pepin has been receiving accolades not only for Rey Miguel, but for his other cigars, including Tatuaje and Don Pepin Garcia Black, which just scored a 93 rating in Cigar Aficionado.
This is one of the best cigars on the market today made by one of the cigar legends of our time. It is an absolute must for the connoisseur.

Hello CigarBid members!
This email is exclusively for HotDeals subscribers: "Private Auctions" are not available to the general public and are only accessible through the link below.
Short and sweet: I have exactly 500 units of 25 Gurkha Expedition Series Toro and I want to get them in your hands as quickly as possible. Why? Because I know you're gonna love them and be back for more later. So I'm bribing you with a $49.99 starting bid price (compare that to the $140 MSRP). For 2 bucks apiece, this is simply a no-brainer.
The bedlam begins at just $49.99 per unit of 25, saving you up to 64%. This is an incredible offer!
The madness ends Tuesday. Available only for CBID's HotDeals email subscribers.

From my inbox ...................
Hello Everyone,
This is the last week to get the "old man" something he really wants
for Father's Day! And if you are the old man, well, let's just say
it's the last week to get the young man in you something you really
want.
This week we are featuring a 15% off e-coupon on singles 'n samplers.
We have 535 (yes, that's 535) different singles in stock and 14
different samplers packs. When we say there's something for Dad, we
mean it! Pick from Fuente, Don Pepin, Padron, CAO, Rocky Patel,
Ashton VSG ... you name it.
Oh, a quick editorial note...if you haven't tired a Tatuaje yet, you're
missing out. If you like a strong, cuban-style cigar, these are it.
Admittedly, they are a bit pricey, but man, they are good. They are
full of flavor and body. A bit less powerful and a bit less expensive
are the Don Pepins. Use this coupon to pick up a couple of each and see what I mean.
Here are the coupon details:
* Valid for all singles and sampler packs we have in stock.
* The discount is 15%
* It is is valid through Sunday, June 10th
* The code is a0f536
* Not valid with other discounts, offers, or coupons
Our shopping cart will give you the discount immediately upon placing
your order, but you must enter the coupon code above during the
checkout process (in the "Credits Available" section) and click on
REDEEM.
That's it for now. As always, thank you for your business - we
appreciate it!
Here's wishing you and your Dad a great Father's Day.
Best regards,
Mike and Al Baca

An email sent to me:
Let's get it on! This week I am matching up two of the industry's best-known premium brands in a mano-a-mano Cameroon showdown. Long story short, you get 20 tasty handmades for less than 3 bucks apiece. Hey, go back and re-read that! 58% off on 20 CAO + Partagas is insanity.
The tale of the tape:
CAO Cx2 - the sweet science of "Cameroon times two." The Cx2 is the first to incorporate two authentic Cameroon wrappers. Underneath, there's a wonderful blend of tobaccos including a heady combination of Nicaraguan and Columbian long-fillers. The result is a rich, spicy-sweet smoke with woody undertones and a pleasant, nutty finish.
Partagas - this 92-rated old-school champ remains a highly-regarded brand name in the industry. Partagas employs a superior mixture of Dominican and Mexican long-leaf tobaccos inside a dark and toothy Cameroon wrapper. This consistent blend delivers a robust flavor profile with hints of wood, coffee, and subtle spices.
'Rumble in the Jungle VIII' includes 20 cigars: 10 - CAO Cx2 Robusto 5" x 52
10 - Partagas Naturales 5.5" x 50
Oh yes. This $59.99 introductory offer will be available one-time only.

For those of us noobs, who still need to try one of everything...here is a 20 stick Dominican Sampler that looks to be a hell of a deal, at least compared to the B&Ms in the OC. I would think the JR price is lower, by 60% or more than what I would normally pay. only $3.50 per stick. I can't find any cigar at a B&M for $3.50, much less these brands. I'm ordering one today.

This cigar has been receiving rave reviews all over the internet since its introduction 4 weeks ago at the cigar industry's annual trade show. Bold, hearty, and quite full-bodied, this cigar has a remarkable smoothness considering the heavy-duty Cuban blend. The construction and quality are quintessential Pepin Garcia excellence.
Due to the specially selected tobaccos, production was capped at 850 boxes of each size. This is the type of cigar that people are buying several boxes and putting one or two away for the future. This is definitely one of the top 5 cigars Pepin has ever sent us.

I am considering but... the old adage, Caveat Emptor keeps ringing in my head. I read an article in some magazine which asked the question "How do they mysteriously keep finding this tobacco? If it is that good (and we know it is) they would not have "lost it", so buyer beware."
What says my brothers (and sisters) here on this topic on this cigar?

joecigar.com tonight - Fonseca Vintage Robusto - 10 for $24.99
These are a really good milder smoke. I keep them around to feed to noobs, or when I am in the mood for something mild. I've smoked dozens of them from CBid. Consistent construction, tho you'll see some with green cosmetic splotches on the wrapper. I've never had a plugged one.
Very pleasant taste - nutty, with kind of a very faint marshmallow taste thing they have going on. Worth the $2.50/stick.

I think I'll be picking up a box of the Oliva master blends I linked two as a new month rolls around. The partagas I would buy if I could sell my truck rather quickly that I have sitting just sponging up my money back in the states.
This one is pimping a sponsor's site. If I knew I had someplace to put them I'd buy the lot or at least try to. That's almost $1.50 a smoke granted they are small but good for a quick lunch break or something.

A whole slew of auctions closing with no bids. Some are pretty screaming deals especially if you know you like that particular cigar. For example two boxes of the Gran Habano 3 Siglos for $158 that's $80 a box I can't find them for less than $110. If I had the space I would have plopped some money down. I will be tapped out for space since I just bought a box of VSGs and San Cristobal today.

I still have a 3-pack in my humidor from the last time I did this. They appear all the time. I don't think they care if you buy it more than once either.
JRCigars have Fuente Double Chateau sungrowns in stock right now. Shipped 97.43 a box, not that great of deal, but these are hard to find in stock online and one of my favorite smokes that is less than $100 a box. Looks like CI has them instock right now also, only 88.95, not sure what the shipping is there though...
