Thanks MD. excellent and speedy service!

After all this hassle and waiting, I think it was not the lighter's fault after, but my fuel.:smt013

I filled my new one, and got the same results as the old one. nothing.

It wouldn't light. I eptied it, purged it, blew it out with canned air, turned it down, and filled it with a different brand of fuel. (collibri) It works great!

The other fuel was triple filtered, but it just wouldn't work right. Same with my collibri lighter. It Fu**ed it up too!!!:smt013 :smt013

Just my opinion here, but I suggest everyone stay away from Blue Point butane. I used the still half empty canister for a target.:smt070

I'm using Zippo Premium butane. Readily available for me.
I've refilled the lighter now about 3-4 times, and not a single problem.

Only semi-issue, is that the lighter gives up early. What i mean is, when it starts acting funky in need of a fill... it seems theres quite a bit left to purge. It's a good sized resevoir anyhow... so filling is less frequent than i expected.

Aside from a little wasted butane, the insert is awesome.

I love mine. It allows me to use some old lighters I received as gifts.
I always remeber the giver with every "ping".

I recently picked up an insert and love it as well. Think I may pick up another one to have.
