View Full Version : 601
I like strong cigars with silky shade wrappers.
I buy El Original Corona Claras from Island Smoke Shop by the half-wheel bundle.
Best new cigar I've had in awhile is the 601 Robusto made by Don Pepin.
Mr. Bundles .com has a sale going on those right now.

IndyRob has been buying the 601 from the same place and loves them. Thanks for another positive vibe.

A simple thread made you do it right Rob? Too funny :headroll:

It was like fate or something. I was thinking about cigars and then I was reminded of how the last 5'er of the rabito's went, so I ordered more.
They are pretty good and would be better if they were $3.50-$4.00 range.

These do seem pricey is what I was thinking, so I passed on them. I will get with you Rob if money becomes available for a 5er or a split at a later date.
this is a smoke I don't plan to be out of (at least not for long), so 10 bucks off is 10 bucks off.

How do these taste? Say, as compared to the Havan VI from the Tatuale line.
Those buggers are just about at my limit for enjoyable spiceyness.
I much prefer the wrapper on these. Very strong cigar, very strong tasting - a complete absence of bitterness.

I agree, they are pretty strong. I can smoke them after a meal
received my box of robustos yesterday.
Love this cigar. I tried a 10-pack of rabitos and didn't like them quite as much (and my favorite cigars are all lanceros)
I didn't like the way the flavors balanced as well in the rabitos as in the robusto, it burns better and doesn't develop any bitterness.
