Classic grub, and good anytime of the day or night:blob:
When made correctly, these are hard to beat.

of course, nice slice of ham (deli is fine), overhard egg (2, 3 even better), and fresh sliced swiss cheese melted on the bread as it grills....ham grilled separately and added at the last minute. fresh crushed pepper, dash of salt, and badda-bing! a classic!!
I love Swiss cheese with mine....and bacon please!! I prefer mine slightly runny though.
Some hot sauce can be added too!

forgot the hotsauce! bacon easily sub'd for the ham (though ham is much faster)

Never go with fast on the pork. Gotta cook that bacon slow so it stays chewy. None of that lousy Waho bacon though!
This post is making me hungry

I like mine with a little dijon mustard. But sometimes I take it plain w/ a sprinkle of Old Bay and salt....:stomachgrowls:
Eating one right now with Swiss on rye.

The word "bacon" alone is making me think of getting a late-night snack. Bacon is the most versatile food item. It can be added to anything, and that thing will become more delicious.
These must be enjoyed immediately hot off the skillet!
Topped off my sammich with a Corona, my co-workers will love me tomorrow.

Especially after you let all that ferment overnight. :)

Since my girl friend is worried about my cholesterol I only get a fried egg sandwich once every couple of weeks. I keep telling her not to worry, as I don't have cholesterol in my body, but she keeps nagging me.
The look on her face when I eat a fried egg with cheese on it, ( I like a bit of Mayonnaise as well), is probably best compared to the look on someones face when they hear, "well, genocide isn't ALL that bad....".

Pork roll!!!!
Love these. . .but gotta have thick sliced, fresh onions added just before serving. Saute'd work good for those who like a mellower flavor. . .

Me too.
Since it's secretary's day or whatever the hell your supposed to say now my office is floating catered lunch for everyone. Just won't be as good as an egg sandwich though.

Had this huge spread for lunch and basically no meat. Pimento cheese sandwiches, spinach lasagna, etc. What a GYP!
3 fried eggs cooked on both sides but the yolk still runny. Top with mustard, cheese and bread! YUM!

I was actually lazy last night and we have a carton of that fat free egg white stuff and I put some of that in a plastic container and nuked it for a couple minutes till it turned into a huge fluff of egg. Put that on a toasted english muffin with some cheese and ketchup and it was grub time.

Every Sunday for breakfast I have 2. Always on an English muffin, butter on both sides. American cheese. Some times with bacon or sausage or just alone. The egg is cooked on both side and a little crispy on the edges.
Some times I make these when I'm lazy and don't want to cook.
I think I just invented a new one:
Fried egg
Nathan's Hot Dog, quartered
Smoked Gouda
Toasted Kaiser roll
A good dash of Tabasco
Salt and pepper
