Anybody out there trying to unload some firearms? I see the Colt, but that's about it. Anybody else?

I've been giving serious thought about selling one of my cowboy action rigs, a pair of Ruger Vaquero's (.45 Colt, hardcase blued) in a gunfighter style rig. Right hand gun (4 5/8") is low slung, left gun (3 5/8" Sheriff model) is cross draw.
I set this rig up a couple years ago and never used it. One gun has a couple rounds through it, the other has never been fired. Leather is all new too. Original boxes and p/w. Would be a cheap way to get in the sport (as opposed to original Colts!) if anyone is interested.

I don't sell guns, I shoot 'em.
Seriously though, I don't have enough that they get lonely enough to be sold.

Great setup with the Colts there, and see, may have found a buyer here on the group ;-)!! Thought I'd throw the question out there, stir the pot, and see what started floating LOL!
Mark, I don't remember readin about your Para, thats a fantastic weapon, but if I ever bought one it'd be a 14/45, though I think I'l set on fullsized .45s with the pickup of the Kimber..

Thinking about selling off my 40 cal Browning Hi Power Mark II. Took it to the gun shop a couple of weeks ago and they rated it at 99%. Not a scratch on it, looks like brand new.

How much have you shot in the way of .40's? I used to be a huge .45 fan but there are TONS of .40 rounds that have more stopping power than .45s with less recoil allowing you to retarget more quickly

I love the .40 cartridge. I'm afraid to ask (as it might be low enough to tempt me), but how much are you thinking on the .40 high power Hot Sauce?

I've got a couple on the block myself. An H&K USP Compact .45 and a Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter, .338 Win Mag, stainless over wood.

How much for the HK?
Mark, my .40SW experience is limited to a 5" SAXD that I used in IDPA competitions, and a Glock that by best friend taught me how to draw/clear/shoot with..I've just never liked the .40SW round, I'd either go a little smaller towards 9mike or a little bigger to .45...

I was originally asking $750 for a package deal in this listing...
H&K USP Compact .45 with four holsters
Variant 1: DA/SA, with safety/decock lever. Puchased in 2002, this pistol is in very good shape. Just a little normal holster wear from frequent carry and trips to the range. Has consumed all ammunition fed to it without a hiccup. Includes two magazines, original case, operator's manual...
...and...
FIST ultra-thin Kydex j-hook IWB holster
DeSantis black leather pancake holster
DeSantis black leather magazine carrier
Bianchi strong side thumb-break holster, tan leather
Galco Miami Classic shoulder rig with double mag carrier and belt tie downs

The Gunshop said that if it were their gun they would ask $500 for it, but I would probably let it go for $480.
I have fired less than 500 rounds through it, I also had a gunsmith do a trigger job on it as well. Comes with 2 mags.

Might want to quote when you ask those types of questions at specific people, especially when the post is on a previous page. Mark stated that there are .40 S&W with more stopping power than .45 rounds. He didn't make a blanket statement saying that the .40 S&W in general has more stopping power than the .45acp. Beyond that, he'd have to answer. All I know is I'm plenty happy with my .40 and would love to have a .45 as well.

I missed your reply bro'. If only I had some extra cash on my you'd be short a HiPower right now. Good luck with moving it, I doubt you'll have much trouble, but when I find I have the extra cash I'll check back in with you.
