This isn't a competition to see who is the most many man. Be honest, please. Me? So far, the Partagas Black Label Magnifico. I don't know where this ranks on the weakest to strongest cigars list, but it is the strongest I have ever had and I have enjoyed two of them in two days.

OpusX Power Ranger.

Hands down, no question, for me it was a RyJ Cazadores....gave me the hiccups afterwards, but it was a damn tasty cigar.

I *love* the Partagas Blacks! They're strong, but not overly so. I enjoy them each and every time I have one (and that's relatively frequently).

Check out the Punch Rothschild Maduro-Maduro (not the single maduro), and also the Hoyo de Monterey Excalibur 1066 'Dark Knight', and also the Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970, and the La Gloria Serie R maduro. Shoot, try the natural Serie R as well; I find it's even tastier (albeit not nearly as strong). You might also look into some of the La Flor Dominica cigars; the new Coronado is nice and strong too, even tho it's not a maduro.

As for the strongest I've truly enjoyed....personally, I'm a sucker for Tatuaje Brown Labels. They're all full-body and plenty strong, but still have a wicked-good taste.

Definitely the Opus X Power Ranger, but this could be biased by some inhalation. A buddy and I were smoking 'em and he said they weren't as strong as he'd heard they were. Then he dared me to inhale. Long story short, I'm an idiot. That night didn't end so well. But the Power Ranger packs one heck of a punch.

It was either the LFD Chisel Maduro or the JDN Antano Gran Consul. Both are powerhouses.

yeah, i just smoked a power ranger on saturday...long story short, tasty stick but man did my stomach churn. I definitely underestimated this cigar. I'm gonna have to try again sometime, but I am never underestimating the strength of a cigar again.

I had a Camacho triple maduro (pre-release version) recently that tasted awesome, very subtle until that night when I got sicker than a dog. Do NOT underestimate this one! The flavors are not powerful, they're rich but not overwhelming, but when the strength kicks in you'd better be sitting down.

I'm all over the map on this one. Sure, LFD Double Ligeros and JdN Antanos are pretty strong, and Edges USED to be, but often I will smoke them and think "they're not all that strong." OTOH, yesterday, I had a HdM, then an AF 8-5-8, and then a NC Saint Luis Rey Belicoso. That SLR kicked my a$$ all over the street! I was dizzy for about a half hour, and it took most of the night for my stomach to feel completely normal! :lookaroun

I don't know if it was the cumulative effect of the 3 sticks or just that the SLR was super strong. I have also had that happen with AF Double Chateaus after smoking a couple of other cigars. The point is that, at least for me, sometimes the usual suspects just ain't all that, and some unlikely sticks jump up and kick me in the gut! :barf:

Good point, Vic. I think that when I "feel" it, it's usually been a big night. A couple or four cigars, a few drinks, etc. All of a sudden you stand up, and you wish you hadn't.

 I am on the same level with the above cigars and love them a lot. The Power Ranger is one that I have not tried yet but I will need to fix that soon. Also Coronado by La Flor is another kick but cigar to try as well.

oh yeah, LFD's on empty stomach, yumm.

ANYthing on an empty stomach is bad, at least for me... had the "heebee jeebies" from a Perdomo La Tradicion Champagne! Of course, inhaling didn't help, either... Live and learn, live and learn...

I'd say the strongest body I've had is the Joya de Nicaragua Antano, Camacho Coyolar, or Partagas Black Krystal.

The strongest flavor, though, is a toss up between four: the Cohiba XV, St Luis Rey serie G mad, Felipe Dominicana (old/ pre-release blend) torp , and the Tatuaje reserva J21.

Just my 2 cents,
ZugbugPete

Opus xXx and Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 with honorable mentions going to the La Flor Dominican - double ligero.

*NOTE* If you want to full effect of a Power Ranger, smoke it after a Joya de Nicaragua '70. WOW!

I've enjoyed both the Camacho 07/05 Ltd. and the LGD immensely after a large meal. And I always seem to get caught around this time of year when our meals turn lighter. Damn! Both of those sticks will knock me around after a fish dinner!

I have a bunch of Cohiba XVs. I got them from cigarbid. 15 for $87. It was the first auction I won on cigarbid (please tell me I got a good deal  ) I smoked two of them today and a Rocky Patel 1990. Delicious, but a little too much for me being a relatively new smoker.

Never tried a Partagas Black or an LfD Chisel, although I've heard amazing things about both of them. Probably the cigar that I LOVE, but consistently kicks my ass is the Africa. Gives me the hiccups and an upset stomach every time, but I can never put it down.

Also, Oliva MB II seems to kick my ass when I can get ahold of those.

Try the natural, not the maduro. For some reason the naturals are the stronger of these two cigars.
