It's pipe tobacco.

Putting this in perspective ... a 4 oz tin will generally provide at least 25 full pipe loads (smoking time approx 1 hr each). So while this price may seem expensive for pipe tobacco ... this is definately still a bargain when compared to say; a box of Cuban cigars from the 70's.

And to some people, Three Nuns is one of those "holy grail" blends of pipe tobaccos.

I like John cotton's # 2 med mix better...... or 1960's Benson and hedges full virgina flake....or Dunhill Ye olde Signe.
