Man I love chewing on these things and spitting out the shell.

Anyone else?

I just like eating them, not the shell part.

They are the only thing that can keep me awake on road trips and tired days at the office.

When I used to work in an office that is.

I like sunflower seeds w/o the shell. Roasted peanuts on the other hand are good in the shell. I even eat the shell ...

I go through cycles where I'll eat sunflower seeds all the time then OD on em. I agree with Todd. Great for long car trips.

The first one I went to was priced in Euros...weird.

I like David brand the best. I have tried a few flavored varities but prefer the naturals the best.

Yea, I just killed a David brand bag and go for the natural myself. I figure I'll give the others a shot. Chilie Lime sounds interesting.

mmmmmmmm, sunflower seeds! used to work in a minimum security jail - all outdoors, inmates walked everywhere.... all the deputies used to eat them, spitting the shells onto the asphault sidewalks/roadways. of course, we could always find an inmate who was willing to sweep up for us!

Hmmm, I only eat them already shelled but maybe I should try them to help give up the snuff.

I have to agree with this 100%

I have needed to take up smoking crack to get my self off of the David's sunflower seeds. Crack is just a little less addictive for me.

Over the past few weeks I have gone through a large bag a day. Have also tried the Jim Beam Soaked, different...good change of pace from the regular David brand. Was talking with a co-worker about trying to find the five gallon bucket for sale somewhere Link (http://store.drsoda.com/davteambuc.html) or at Sam's (http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=329179). Might have to give it a shot.

I could never get the hang of the damn things, playin softball most of the guys on the team are younger and go through a bazillion packs a game. Me and the other ex-catcher (he's 34-35) split a bag of Redman each game. Of course the seeds don't stain the front of your shirt either.

I don't spit (and I certainly am not going to swallow) sunflower seed shells. http://www.botl.org/community/forums/user_pics/1064-1168564626.gif

To be honest, I rarely eat them at all.

David's Sunflower Seeds.......In the shell.

Gets me through all of my daughters' softball games.......Plus, it's kind of funny when the team wants to eat them too......

Picture if you will a dugout full of 10 and younger girls, spitting seeds all over the place on their way to the plate..... Makes a coach proud I tell ya.....

I eat around a small bag a day. The normal David's come in a box from costco.

I love em, but they are so much work for very little payoff. My buddy putss about 50 in his cheek and seperates the shells and spits it out one by one. I have to use my fingers on every one. However my roasted peanut addiction is in full swing.

You bet! They're awesome with an ice-cold Barq's!!

I've weaned myself a good bit, but was known for eating 'em by the pound. I even got the local merchant to order them [California Jumbos] by the case and sell them to me at just over wholesale and a good bit below retail. I can get a pretty good "machine gun" rythym going when I'm in my stride.

Check six. ~(*_*)~
