hello, been smoking optimos and swishers for a while ,few years..and finally found a shop with a humidoor in town and picked up a few handfulls but still everything is mostly dominican republic, churchhill 2nds,a few fuentes partagas and i thought i got a deal on a partial box of p and d hand made on the band that were marked 4.00 each and i got them for a dollar each.. anyone know what a green label p and d brand is...time for a internet order...thanks mike.

hmm.. I have no clue what a p and d is..
Were they bundled?
Or could they be seconds?
I am sure somebody here will get this figured out for you..

Swishers were my first cigar back in the early 90's. Luckily, they have developed a cure for this due to recent advancements in bio-tech.
Those P&D cigars might be a house brand. Have fun exploring ... but be careful on Cigarbid.

You are playing on thin ice right now. If you dont watch yourself you will be in debt and cigars up to your eyeballs and will not know what to do. Storage will become a problem. You start out with one humi, then add another and another, until you decide that a cooler is what you need. Once you get that you say ok I am good now. Until you realize that you are looking at wine coolers or the famous avallo and pricing them out. I know what you are thinking... that will never happen to me. But you are wrong, every brother on this site has thought the same thing, not me, I will just stop.
My suggestion to you is just skip over all other additional humis and coolers and save your self the headache. Just line the inside of your entire house with spanish cedar and have your self a big ass walk-in. I know that there are some people here that will be more than willing to help you set it up and guide you along the way. Take teds advice and stay away from cbid, thats where it all starts.

just trying to lighten the mood, but ill tell ya one thing its funny how different brands of cigars taste and smell, had a different real dark leaf wrapped churchill a little while ago,my others were real light colored ,i liked it...got to find out where my brother got these..he grabbed a partial box when he got his copenhagen, they have a clear wrapper with a gold band, cant find a name..so another cheapie i guess.but i love freebies..
Brian
06-15-2007, 04:56 PM
The real dark leaf, prolly a maduro. That is my favorite wrapper.:smokingbo
Try the real handmade cigars, but DO NOT go overboard buying boxes of them. At most, get a 5'er or so. Your tastes will change and you'll be wondering what to do with these boxes of cigars, trust me on that one.

There is PD Cigars out of Stockbridge, Georgia and they do make "house blends" for alot of different shops througout the South, and they do routinely sell for around $4.00 a stick, so that may have been what he was referring to.

Now I have a reed and barton "The Wellington", A small 50 cnt reed and barton, the Arturo Fuente Cigar Family Charitable Foundation Humidor (250ct), and working on a coolerdor.
I do not need the, yes I do, no I do not, yes I do....Aghhhhhhh.
