I saw this the other day and was reminded of it when I read the post about the turbo bacon cheesburger.

Ahh, the ingenuity of our fast food industry. They'll do anything to get people in their restaurants.

spam is pretty good sliced about an inch thick or so and fried then served for breakfast with eggs. it does need an acquired taste though and i deffinatly would not eat it cold.

Agreed. I like to fry it with eggs once or twice a year maybe. Great camping breakfast.

I only like spam with a sliver of egg, on sticky rice, and wrapped up in nori.

When my wife and I were dating still and we went to her parent house for holidays, her father would cook a big bunch of Spam, Pancakes, Eggs, and Toast. I like it with eggs in the morning, and I would try it on a BK special if it were here.

Interesting that it is so popular in Hawaii. I have had it as a kid and as I remember I enjoyed it. Haven't tried it in years though.

That is the one thing I miss when ordering breakfest in New England. I do miss the South.

It's better than it looks. It's really good if you dunk it in shoyu sauce ( http://www.alohashoyu.com/ ) . My ex girlfriend and I would make a ton of musubi if we were going out on a day trip to Newport Beach.
