Georgia Monthly Herf / Poker...???

Offering my home near Augusta, Georgia, my food, my bar, and my humi's to all that attend.

Just hoping to get something going on a regular basis. Can work out the details and dates as need be.

Guessing Saturdays would work best for most but I'm good for Sundays as well. Hell, or both..... We have a guest bedroom and an air-bed.

Start time of say....Noon until "whenever"

I did a monthly poker herf in WA state with some BB folks up there and we played a cigar hand at the top of the hour. The rest of the time was nickel, dime, quarter stuff. Kept things friendly and at best someone could walk away with about $30 or $40 extra in their pockets. But, the cigars sometimes included Opus, Anni's, and even a few "forbidden" fruits from time to time. We all had a blast.

I supply the food, drinks, and location, but most treated it like a pot-luck or something, bringing sweets, snacks, beer, wine, liquor, or something to accompany whatever the main theme food happened to be for that month. Never a requirement but most did it anyways.....I posted the details in advance to get RSVP's for an idea of how much food to get.

And as I've stated before.....My humi's are open to all.

The only "rule" is to have a good time.

Sure hope we can get something going with this. There's nothing quite like a group of cigar folks getting together for the simple reason of sharing a good smoke with even greater people.

OK, the weather is warming up.....sorta......and Spring is just around the corner.....Time to clean off the grills and smokers and cook some MEAT!!!

At this point, I'm thinking maybe the last weekend in May, or first in June. I'll have to see as the time gets nearer. Best day seems to be a Saturday....... something like Noon to whenever.

My only thing is I am a crew mwmber for a hot air balloon team and we usually fly on weekends, so the earlier I know the better so I can make sure there are enough crew for the pilot to fly. Other than that, I will be there.
