Ok, So its time for an ashtray. I don't need anything crazy, but what do you guys recommend?
Is there something I should look for?
Thanks

CAO cubist ashtray! Love it.
The Montecristo 70th Anniversary ashtray also looks sweet.

Cubist is cool, but I don't want to spend $100.
The Montecristo 70th Anniversary and the stinky ashtray aren't bad.
The four way is cool, but kinda big.

Stinky bowl or any of the 20 dollar ish Padron/Don Lino/etc, type ceramic 4 cigar trays are nice.

Yeah, I got my Cubist off cigarmonster for like $30 or something. Great ashtray for what I paid, but I wouldn't pay retail for it.

Make sure ashtray can accommodate cigars and not just cigarettes. Buy something that is appealing to you and your needs. Good luck and happy hunting.

You know what I don't care for about the CAO Cubist, is that the cigar rests are so wide. If you're 1" into your robusto, the cap end of the cigar is sitting ON the rest if you want your ash over the tray. That at least for me makes it more difficult to pick your stogie back up.

Stinky ashtrays are great, especially if you are lazy and don't empty them out every day like me.

I LOVE my Stinky!!! It was one of the best presents I have gotten in a long time. Big ceramic cigar ashtrays are OK, but they have to be emptied too often.

I love my Stinky ashtray. The lazy man's answer. Got mine free with a big order from Holts.
eBay, thrift store or antique store.

Herf Edition or regular size?

Dude that Herf size is HUGE!!! Not that some of you don't need that, but my regular size works just fine for 3-4 guys.
Herf Edition or regular size?
I have the regular size and can fit over a weeks worth of butts in it before making my lazy ass dump it out. Like others have said, the herf size is huge.

Yeah, that herf size is way overkill! :crosseyed

I know, I've seen it and it's gynormous. Just wondering which you had, with a triple box purchase of Old Henry a while back, they were giving away the Herf size.

This is a different looking ashtray. I can see it getting dirty as hell, but it's cool looking.

I missed that. I had just ordered two boxes of Old Henrys when that came out. This was part of the party pack.

Very nice, I just ordered two of them from that site, the La Flor and the Tatuaje! I kind of have a passion for collecting those damn ashtrays! Thanks for the link.

I have come to the conclusion we are all sick in the head. And we all inable each other in our addiction to cigars. I would go to rehab, but REHAB IS 4 QUITERS!!!!

Funny Stinky story: This week-end was nice and sunny. I was taking my stuff out on the deck to have a cigar or three. I put my Stinky ashtray on a table, put my cigar inside the bowl of the ashtray, and went back inside to get some more stuff. When I came out a minute or two later, I saw smoke coming out of the ashtray. WTF?? So I walked over, and the Stinky had apparently acted like a parabolic mirror, focusing the sun on one spot on the cigar, which was hot enough to start the cigar burning! Fortunately, I got there before the burn made its way through to the binder, so it was still smokable.
So, if it's sunny, be careful what you put in your Stinkys. OTOH, if you run out of butane, you don't have to refill your lighter, as long as it's sunny enough and if you have enough patience...
