I signed up on their Torano's Insider list many moons ago and finally I receive something from them (see link as PDF was too large to upload) http://www.torano.com/newsletter/sept07/
I also received a mysterious box in my office from an unknown source and it contained a [url]http://www.altadisusa.com/cigar/montecristo-classic.asp
A couple of questions... (A) did any of you receive one (b) if you did, did you smoke it and (c) would you review/recommend it.
My experience with Monte's other than the No. 2 has been poor. Same with Macanudos for that matter.

I find the Altadis Monte Classic as dull and lifeless. Very disappointing smoke. Its all in the name and the marketing I suppose.

I had a Monte robusto N.C. yesterday evening, and enjoied it. But I'm new to this, so I'm enjoying almost everything I smoke at one level or another.

This is my opinion only. Everyone has different tastes and tastes change regularly.

You should try the Noventa. Expodus 1959 or the Virtuoso for prior to these two I has smoked a couple of real bog turds from them. This was before I took on the adage that life is too short to smoke a bad cigar.
