Does anyone use one?
I utilize Equifax after my Amex was stolen. It gives me a credit report yearly and alerts me of new activity on inactive accounts and balance changes over a certain dollar or percentage.

I too use Equifax (a free gift after the Veterans Administration databases were compromised). Liked it so much we stayed with it.

I use Guidofax. If I see someone has been using my credit fraudently ... I send the info to my friend Guido.
He then finds out who they are and breaks their kneecaps.

Equifax. They keep giving me free credit reports to keep me on their monitoring service.
No, I just monitor my accounts.

I check it once a year.

It's too important for me not to check it often. I guess I'm paranoid.

It's annoying being the III, I have some of my Dad's stuff on my report that I have to get off.

I do a check every year at www.fico.com They give you all three credit reports for free and for a fee you can get your credit rating number. Even if you don't get the number it's a good idea to check all the reports just to make sure there isn't something goofy on one.
