1 Boveda should last you at least a year.

Boveda is manufactured by Humidipak. Its a sealed envelope that contains a mixture of distilled water, salt, and a jeely like carrying agent. The salt mix determines the humidity level. They are available in 65,69, and 72%. You chose the humidity level that you prefer. The Boveda only lets water vapor penetrate its walls. The salt does not escape. They are safe to lay directly on top of cigars. The Humidipaks will release moisture if your humidor is too dry. They will also absork excess humidity if your humidor is too wet. They are designed to last approx 6 months is a desktiop with a good seal. In tupperware, you should get a year out of them. When they are fresh, they have a jelly like feel to them. When the pack starts to get a stiff, brittle feel to it, its time to replace it.

in a tupperware container holding 50 cigars, use 2 Bovedas.
