Anyone have one? Thoughts, comments, pictures(porn), and what kind of scop-age do you have on it?
Of course other M1A's would be of interest as well...I don't like to exclude. ;)

Sweet. I definately want a nice scope to go with it, but at least I already have an aimpoint. So when I pick it up i can make do with the irons and the aimpoint until I can scratch together the cash for the scope. Of course, I have to scratch together the cash for the rifle first! Dang 'spensive suckers.

Yes, they are quite a pretty penny, depending on what you plan on using this rifle for, I may be able to offer some cheaper. quality alternatives...LMK

I doubt I'll have the money for anything in the NEAR future Andrew, but I'd be interested in whatever direction you can point me. Just do me a favor and keep in mind I'm not the most mechanically inclined person! It was impressive that I was able to put together the two halves of my AR!

Well, since you are already familiar with AR style rifles, there is always the AR-10...Or if you want a near indestructable battle rifle, the CETME rifles are great...There is also the FAL....Or you could pick up a Chinese or Bulgarian copy of the Druganov rifle..

The FAL is already on my "must buy at some point in my life, where's the damn lottery already" list.
To be specific DSA Para with rail forend, Steyr FS and SAW grip. :)
Other than that, the Springfield M1A is still on the list.
