Writer Hunter S. Thompson 67, killed himself today with a shot gun at his home in Aspen Colorado. He's probally best know for his work "Fear and Loating in Las Vegas". He was a huge part of the counter culture. He was an interesting writer who made one think. Just wondering if something else other then depression was brewing but what I don't know.

A very interesting person. H.S.T. was a fellow Kentuckian who lived in Louisville for many years. Every year there is a big event celebrating him and his work.

F&L was a great movie and exposed his name to many people. His literary works are an interesting , thought provoking read to say the least.

Yeah, one of my old girl friend's mother used to date him back in high school. She said that he was an ass and that he was always in trouble. Still, I like his work and his voice will be sadly missed. Particularly in this political climate.
