my first order came in today. along with my humidor and my cigars and the seasoning packets. With my order i got one box of Perdomo Reserve Champagne + a free table top lighter, one box CAO Brazilia + 5 CAO Black for free, 12 Gurkha Centurian, and one 12 Cigar sampler that includes ( 2 Graycliff Blues, 2 Curkha Symphony, 2 RP Conneticut, 2 Champagne Toros, 2 Five Vagas A, and 2 La Flor De Cano Selectos). How long does it take for the boveda seasoning packets to season a humi. 24-48 hours? I will post some picks after the humi is seasoned and packed.

I always give a new humidor a good few (3-5) days to soak up the humidity and stabilize. A lot depends on the climate where you are and where the humidor has been. Also, some folks wipe down the interior of the humidor with a clean white cloth that has been dampened with distilled water, while others believe that doing that risks warping the humidor. If you do that once a day, I would think that two days would be OK.

Remember, if you put your cigars in there prematurely, the wood will suck some of the humidity out of your sticks. OTOH, most retailers ship their sticks on the wet side, so maybe that wouldn't be too bad...

When I used the boveda seasoning packets, it took about a week to get the RH to what I wanted, and now it is right on.............good luck setting up the new Humi.....Yes we want to see some pic's....

They also sent me some Cafe Creme cigarillos for free just two kinds and five packs if anyone has had these are they good. not like it takes much to try one there 3x25 so it wouldnt take long to smoke
