Tatuaje Reserva SW

This is my first Tatuaje, the Reserva SW (7"x47). I'm only 1/4 of the way into it but I'm definitely loving it. Its flavorful, but not over bearing. Its smooth, and draws wonderfully.

I would pare a nice latte with the taste of this cigar.

When I asked my supplier if he had any, he generously gifted two of these sticks to me. Supposedly he had many costumers returning the cigars due to poor draw problems.

Opinions on this smoke?

yeah, it really is hard to find one with a bad draw, but the Havana Cazadores, given the length and size can be a bit tough sometimes. same gauge as Noellas but longer, tough to roll i guess

I love all Tats and only had one problem with draw in well over 300 Tat smokes. I love the Havana VI series as much as the SW/Cabinet series.

Over half way done, it has gone out on me three times so far... This is very sad, as it is a great tasting cigar..

either you suck at smoking cigars:eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow: or the cigar has a few soft spots, I actually noticed that with the RW as well, it's a great smoke, but not as firm as lets say the Cojonu06 or the Unicos.
can you feel any softspots???

Funny, right as I refreshed the page, and read your post - I noticed as I draw I can feel the shoulder area getting really soft. Almost like the cigar is burning to hot, making it real soft in that area...

Also, rest assured these sticks were kept in the perfect environment.

It seems the wrapper is burning MUCH faster then the filler.

Could be due to the dry atmosphere where you are smoking. The wrapper will be the first to dry out on a properly humified stick. I'm in the desert so they tend to dry out faster than most places. Of course if the stick was a bit wet to begin with, that would be the other explaination.

I like these smokes, and i have not had a bad draw.

Great cigar. All hand rolled cigars are subject to problems. I have had a few tats with firm draw. Still love em.
