The CAO as a lifestyle brand thread got me wondering, "what are the stereotypes that go along with people who smoke a particular brand of cigar?"

that is, if there are any stereotypes....

If you only smoke CC's you are wealthier than average. (I know you can get some of them cheaper than NC's) And if you only smoke Philles or white owls, you are ghetto. If you only smoke a cigar because it costs' more tha $10 or more the $15 $20 then you are a snob. If you smoke Acid cigars you are young and hopefully will graduate to the big leagues soon. Just a couple for you.

... I tried 2 Acid Cigars, one "Nasty", one "One"... both were very disappointing, I am unlilkey to pick on up, especially at their price points.

I know some guys that love Baccarrat's and Big Dog's. Others look at them like they can't handle a full bodied cigar.

I like anything I am in the mood for. Doesn't matter what it is. But as long as your cigar isn't flavored or smells flavored, you can smoke with me anytime.

If someone thinks that he can "handle" a certain cigar, I feel sorry for that guy, since his misplaced macho deal means he is missing out on the point, which is not to handle a cigar, but to enjoy it. If you like a cigar that makes everybody else swoon, fine for you, but if you can handle it, you missed out on a lot of enjoyment, totally. And if you can't handle it, or do not particularly like being dizzy or nauseous, join the club, you have an awful lot of company out there. Not so long ago only mild cigars were cool, and the really strong ones were the cheap ones. Times change, tastes change. I just hope that all the mild cigars I love now will still be what I want to smoke when I still own so many of them ten years from now.
