It is supposed to say RP not TP............

i know they have been out for at least 2 years, dont know much more about them though :dunno: I think i am going to pull the trigger on 2 of the boxes(one of each wrapper) if they are good then i got a great deal....If they suck then they will go into the crap humidor for my college friends lol

I am now a little leary of the RP/CI blends. Ci has bought the entire production of a couple of RP's cigars. The R4 is the one I'm reffering to in particular. I bought a bundle of these a month or so ago, and I hope they get netter with time. They almost seem to have a color additive, as my spit seems to turn orange while I smoke these. If I have sent you one of these, let them sit for a while, hopefully some rest will even these out. I hope, for your sake, the Vigilante is better

I have some, they are OK, nothing to write home about, but good for the price point.

I also got a bundle of the R4s a few months ago (maduro wrapper). I smoke about one every two weeks, and they do seem to be getting better the longer they age.

"TV Vigilante" reminds me of the time one of my buddies stole ALL of the toilet paper on our college campus.

I am not a big RP fan in gerneral, I have not had those.

Sometimes I stay away from cigars that aren't on Top 25. I have a lot of RPs and am struggling to pass on these. It's a great deal, but I too bought the R4s and they suck. I haven't been able to smoke an entire R4 because draw is way too hard and the sticks are like a rock.

i usually like the RP products (90 &92 vintage, Edge, Sungrown, Old World Reserve, Decade) these are all great cigars. BUT some of his other products are not so great (cuban blend, american market, r4, fusion, osg, etc.......)

I will let you guys know how these are, i should get mine on monday.

I went with one corojo and one maduro, i will give whichever ones suck to my college friends who know nothing about cigars...... they will love them lol

Where you live when in columbus? I'm 30 miles south of Cbus in Washington court house. You go home on summer break? I"m planning a summer herf for a few others here on the board...Grove city, cincinnati, zanesville...If your home you can come down too.

im just east of Columbus. I drive through Washing Court house a lot when Im visting family down towards cinci.
