^I'm confused. :help:

I actually was there a couple of years ago. Nice store but the prices were a little high as I recall.

Been there several times and I agree that their prices are pretty high, but for a tourist town, I pretty much expected that.

They probably took Al's advice and now only cater to "specialists."

How much was shot - 2 bits?

That show was an excuse to use the F word everyother sentence. It became so distracting I stopped watching.

At the time of the show I read an article with the writer, David Milch. His response to the use of language was that he wanted to portray the use of foul language by the inhabitants of Deadwood at the time. The words they used at the time would be considered innocuous by today's standards so he used words from today's vernacular that would get the viewer's attention.

I too was put off early on by the language. I eventually looked past it to enjoy the show.

Sorry ... I was a big fan of the TV show and it was just a takeoff on the dialog. Like many, I was somewhat stunned by the language used ... but after a few episodes, I was so caught up in the story lines that it didn't matter.

For those math geeks around ... here is a humorous website that really details the number of f-bombs dropped.

Me too. Unfortunately, they could have done without John ( my cousin). i think if they had just kept it abpout the family it would still be on.
