Holts has the Little Habana Overruns. I don't know if any of you got the original release of these about 7 months ago but they were very good. Holts says this one is a little stronger. They only come in one size. Torps in bundles of 20. Here is the link. If they are anything like the first release it will be a very good deal.

These cigars are made and blended by Pepin in Miami. I should have mine on Thursday. I lyk what I think when I smoke one.

I hope these are Pepin's. The original LHO's were rumored to be Pepin and pretty much everyone agreed they were but these could be from another Miami factory. The description does say it's a different blend, this could mean different tobacco or different blender. I guess we'll know soon enough... either way this is an incredible deal on US rolled Miami sticks.

Most things including the Fumadores Holt's sell mention Pepin as the person responsible for them. It should make sense they would do the same for these too no?

Yes, but they made a point in the original listing of LHO, that it was a Miami factory that they couldn't reveal but you could kinda guess who, wink, wink. This time they didn't do that but made a point to say it was a different blend. I'm sure it is Pepin, I'm just thowing out the possiblity that Holts could be capitilzing on the success of the original LHO. Like I said probably Pepin, we'll know for sure in a couple of days.

For the price looks yummy for sure. I didn't pick up on the wink-wink this time, glad you are sure there Pepin. Let me know bro before I pick these up. They might be capitalizing with the smart shoppers like we have a BOTL willing to take a chance on them.

It does say that they're "from the #1 cigar maker in Miami". That's gotta be Pepin, right? Anyway, for the price, it's not a bad gamble.

When I ordered mine. The operator made a point of telling me they were made by Pepin. Which I already knew based on some info I got from a BOTL that's kind of in their loop.

I bought 4 bundles of the LHO-2 torpedos, am smoking my first one right now, off the truck. IT IS GREAT !! I think much stronger than the first LHO released (which I got 4 bundles of), very flavorful all the way (2 inches left now), definitely a Pepin, I would say it tastes similar to Padilla Miami 8&11 in flavor profile. Off the truck so it's a bit moist and has more kick, some time in the humi should mellow this out a little bit. At $2.25 a stick, these are unbeleilvable deal for a Pepin cigar. Highly recommended smoke in my opinion. Herfer's paradise states there are only 175 more bundles left as of 3:41pm 3/18/08, so better act quick if you want a bundle. I think I prefer these LHO-2 to LHO-1 corona gordas that I got before. LHO-1 ages very well too, it's been 6 months in the humi and the flavors have mellowed a little to bring out much more subtle flavors than right off the truck.

I honestly haven't room in the humis for a 20, but if someone's wanting to split a bundle, I'd be down to give them a try.

Blue labels are made in Miami. Are these overruns the imperiales or are they another one of Pepins brands?

I love these so much so that I just ordered 3 more bundles... that is on top of 4 bundles I got 2 days ago. That's $2.35 a stick including shipping, and will last me a long time. I found the original release LHOs age really well and were weaker blend to begin with. So hoping these will age well seeing that they are much stronger OTT.

I got my first order today. I'm smoking my second one today. These are good. Spice, coffee, cedar, leather and all around rich taste. More complex then I expected. For the money, they are a no brainer. 4 bundles in 6 more coming.

I received my 10 from a split with Asher, and I smoked one yesterday at the Vineyard, enjoying a Pinot Noir.

Here are my impressions:

Opened up with a mouth full of pepper, very spicey. This quickly quieted down, into a mild spice, medium flavored, full bodied cigar. This stick had quite a bit of power, could have been because I had a pretty light lunch, but seemed a little unbalanced for the flavor that it provided. So lots of Nicotine with not so much flavor. It definitely had the Pepin taste and it was good, it just didn't seem balanced.

I don't know, IMO, I think these will need to go to sleep for a while. So I will smoke another in a week to get a true baseline and then let the remaining sit for a bit.

I got my two bundles in and broke my cardinal rule by firing one up tonight. Not as strong as most Pepins I have but smooth and full of flavor. This was a killer deal and these are very good cigars. Thanks for the heads up Ocat. Great find.

Don't be surprised if your other bundle is spicier and fuller then the first one you smoked. I have open two and smoked from both. One is spicy and full flavored while the other is a smoother and and full flavor. I am enjoying both.:smokingme

Now everybody wants them. Let me tell you these are very good cigar at a great price. They should be stored at 70% R/T and dried boxed for at least two days before smoking imo. This will let you enjoy them at their best. The bundles that I have open are very different. First one was good. The cigars had a smooth base with nice hints of spice, cedar and tobacco flavors. The second bundle was more typical Pepin profile. They start out peppery and spicy and settle down to a full flavor smoke. Spicy from start to finish. Then I have had a bundle that seems to have a mix of both the first & second bundles. I must say that I am enjoying them a lot. The first release has blossomed into an outstanding smoke. The light wrapper cigars being the best of the lot imo. They came in all sizes from Corona to Churchill. Great smokes with 7 months of age. I got a couple of extra bundle and traded and sold them away as fast I put them up. What I have left will be smoked, aged, and then smoked. I wish I would have picked up a few more bundles myself.

Now for the first person to PMs me that did not get any and wants to try a few. I got a fiver for you.:ballbounc
