The BOTL IRC is currently down as the connection is timing out on the IRC network. This does not affect the site or forums and only pertains to the chatroom. I'm looking into it and will keep this thread updated...

You're correct, we did experience minimal downtime.

Our IRC provider has moved to a new location so until I reconfigure the IRC server all over again, you can access the chat via IRC at 64.18.138.212 for the time being. The provider is leaving up the old chat address for a few days and I should have everything pointing in the right direction by that time. The web interface won't be functional until then.

The old and new location of the IRC is down... will keep posted. I hate the nature of IRC being a target of most denial of service attacks.

Hey if anyone is interested. IRC channels related to blogs and/or public internet forums which are non-profit like BOTL are allowed on irc.freenode.net.

If anyone wants to join me on there (I am normally connected anyway) just point your IRC client to irc.freenode.net #botl

EDIT: They are updating their server tonight so it might be down for a few hours
