Well I thought I had mine, but it was a surprise gift from Altadis Cigar Co. The sent me a cool little wood box with 3 Montes in it. A brown, a White, And a Platinum. And I have the free ones on the way too. Awesome, I love free smokes.

That is a sweet surprise.

I have not received my monte yet either.

how do i get one of those?

I got on some marketing list and now i get little surprises here and there, as well as free smokes for herfs. I can email my rep when a herf is getting together and he'll send out a box or two of smokes for the herf. So far he has sent me a box of trinidad toros, that we all shared at Bill's Herf last month. Alos I had a poker herf with some buddies, and he hit me with a box of Vega Fina, and RyJ Habano Reserve. They are meant to be given out, so I try to hand out as many as possible. I have 5 Trini's left and about half a box of the other two. A subscrption to cigar magazine was put in my name as well. It's a hell of a hook up. So if any one is coming to any of the Socal Herfs, I will be handing out something.

I didn't get mine either yet and I submitted on 6-22. How do you get that box of 3? I’d like one of those.

Well that explains it, but I don't think I can get anymore. I just got invited to one of his events, at The Winery in Tustin. It's a fancy restaurant nearby. Ironicly the owner of my company is an investor in the same restaurant. He said he'll have MonteCristo Polo Shirts and smokes to hand out. I'm excited.

I got mine in about two weeks, but it shipped from Ft. Lauderdale to Ft. Lauderdale so you should expect more transit time. Mine was sent cheapo through the post office, so expect ground all the way.

Well considering i did get a cool little wood box with a 3 pack of montes and a big ass 6 lb box from Altadis today, for the herf this weekend, I'll say I'll be Ok. I'll tell you what I'll send you what a couple of the free smokes I just got to make up for it.

Monte whites used to be good. In fact, they actually used to be really good. But then they changed the blend and re-did them and now they (at least IMO) suck.
It's the only cigar I've ever smoked in a cigar shop and had a customer complain of the aroma.

Some people really like them, tho.

I ordered the classic. It was actually my second order. The first was to my home address and I never got it. The second was to my work address and I got it fairly quick.

To me the whites have a salty taste.

They middle of the roaded them. I agree. I used to really like this cigar. I like the peruivian blend.
