I like collecting cigars as well as smoking them. What interesting or valuable cigars do you have in your collection? For me, its an Opus "TT"A signed by Mayor Giuliani and Carlito Fuente.

I'm shipping my most valuable cigar out on Monday, but after that it'll be my Opus X DC again.

My most prized cigars at the moment are a couple of Anejo's and an Opus X. I also have an Untold Story which I believe is pretty pricey. I just got them in a sampler from a brother and haven't smoked any of them yet but I suspect they won't rest in the humi too long before I light 'em up and determine their true value to me. I think I'm gonna like them!

I have a couple....value to me is meaning....ie I have a cigar from when I got married about 6 1/2 years ago....Opus x Robusto....I can't wait to smoke this when the divorse is final....  ....second would be the 2 Perdomo Silvio's and a Ramon y Ramon from the big Ramon humidor with the Partage 150's....

I was gifted an Original Release Opus X from my secret santa this year. I'm not sure which one it is, but I think it's the one cigar I won't touch for a long time. It is a belicoso with no ribbon on the end. I means alot to me that someone will give a cigar like that without thinking twice.

I have an Opus TT "A" in it's own coffin, and one somewhat rare Punch Diadema. I also have one CAO odyssey and one CAO millenium, both in a coffin - I don't know how rare those are.

I don't know if I'll ever smoke the Opus or the Punch, but I'll probably burn the two CAOs on some festive occasion.

I have 3 cigars left (from an auction purchase of 13 boxes!) of 1948 Francisco Farach "Joyas" - Diplomatic Presentation....
I will smoke 1 when my oldest daughter graduates West Point in May - and then one at her and her sister's weddings.

After that - my best are Habana Davidoffs and Dunhills.

Definitely my Flor the Cano short churchills -80s or RA Trump tubos -47 and my small selection of Dunhills and Davidoffs.. which one is more valuable is a matter of who's buying and who's selling + what else is out there at the moment. Value is a floating thing when you are talking about vintage cigars and the like. (highly depending on conditions too) :D

My most prized cigar in the humi now is a Partagas Mill Salamone. Gosh... dunno what possessed the great BOTL who sent it to me to send it to me. What did i do to deserve such a prize? :) Will probably save that cigar for God knows how long. That's the problem with prize cigars -- they are damn near unsmokable because they are so rare!!! :D

Hakan makes a good point about Value.

But I think we all understand the concept, What's most vauable to You?

I have couple of '79 Mac vintages with sentimental value. A original release Forbidden-X Lancero and several other Special to me cigars.

But at this Moment I have a Very Special Cigar with a Very Special Destiny.

And Aged Habanos Davidoff that I offered to trade for. The TRUE Brother who sent it to me declined Payment.

I sent it anyway, because as Strong as His Dedication to the Brotherhood Is(and it is Very Strong) So Is My Desire to be A Worthy Brother.

It's the kind of cigar I'll not likely see again. So, I better have a Excellent reason to Burn it!

I do, My Girl is coming Home from the Hospital soon(?) and When She does and Drifts off to Sleep in Her own Bed, for the first time in Over TWO Months!

Mr. Davidoff, My Good Brother Far Away and I Shall have a salute`!!

That's my Most Valuable Cigar.

There is some absolutely unbelievable reply's to this thread!!!

I am humbled both by the Brothers here and of course by their collections.... amazing as usual... if that can be construed as "usual"

Anyways... I have a Padron 26 that I bought on my honeymoon that is very special to me :)

As well as the "senora"? commissioned H. Upmann mareva that Hawkan was kind enough to send me... (sorry if I got that wrong hawkan)

Along with that...

I FINALLY have a taboda custom roll in the humi thanks to my good friend chippy :)

Plus a couple of custom rolled ... including some Toboada DPs and robustos.

Also a recent gift from my lawyer ... a 10 year old custom rolled ... not sure the roller ... it was from a conference he attended in Montreal... but as he tells the story the connaiseuers in the group were wowed by the roller.

- a 2004 Taboada-rolled torpedo sent to me in the CW Top This Trade by Bman.

I agree Bman. I've given away more of these than I've smoked. I do try to save them for special occasions when I do smoke them. Plus I take a winter break during the cold months. It allows me to stock up for the summer months.

They are just cigars after all.

Enjoy and everyone have a healthy and happy holidays.

I can't wait until I have something to post here. . . I'm really big into collecting too. I wish I could've held onto some of the really great wines I've had. . . I keep the wine bottles as souveniers. I'm probably going to be scouring this thread when I finally decide to make an honest woman out of my girlfriend of 4 years.

Wov, you guys have some really nice cigars!

My would be some CC EL's (2000 Partagas Piramide, Cohiba DC & Sublime)

I have had my eyes on a box (25) of Romeo y Julieta Lonsdales from 1978 (my year of birth) but that is a lot of money. On the other hand, I could smoke one every birthday for the next 25 years... Aargh!
