Whats the deal with these cigars? I saw them at my B&M the other day but had never heard of them. They were only $5-7 so I may have to grab one if no one has tried them. We just had a Rocky Patel event there a week or so ago so it may be from that.

Hey I asked about these on my latest trip and they said they are a limited production release with only 500 boxes made from left over tobacco from another of RP's lines. Personally the one I tried wasn't that good so I think its a bit of a marketing ploy. Very light smoke for not having a connecticut wrapper.

Well bro judging by what you said, I would be weary of these since they are made of left over tobaccos so you don't know what you're getting till you light one up.

Nice demo. I remember when Cigar Masters was on Newbury Street in Boston and miss that lounge.

The girl in that video was very cute!!
& I just might pick up a palio cutter...
As far as the RP Summer Series is concerned.... I tried one a few weeks back.. I found it mild, boring and over-priced. I think I paid 4-5 for a robusto. I see this as a near-future deal-grabber. It's not that it's a terrible cigar... I would just spend my 5 bucks on about 30 other sticks for that price before I would get another.
My favorite RP's are the Edge, 12 yr Vintage & Decade.

I think Rocky Patel is making some bad decisions recently. He got some accolades for several of his blends, then decided to cash in by slapping his name on eveything he could find. Now it appears as if he is making a sandwich or a short filler cigar? WTF Rocky? Sell them scraps to a machine made cigar company and stick to the good stuff. I could be talking out of my arse, but there are two sides to selling out. One side says "make your $$$ dude" the other says "stay true to your dreams and who you are". I think Rocky's dream was to create premium hand made long filler cigars, not some scrap heap dog rocket. Anyway, I like the Vintage lines and the OWR, the rest have been a dissapointment.
