View Full Version : most expensive cigar
what is the most expensive cigar that you have ever smoked? Was it for a special occasion? where did you smoke it?
for me, it was a Davidoff. The occasion was the RTDA Show in New Orleans (the following week is when the hurricane came through). We smoked them at Hooters. (the atmosphere and views were terrific)

It was a 2001 PSD3 EL that I bought in Paris last month. I actually bought a couple because they are the best cigar I have ever smoked and I didn't have any more. The first one I ever smoked was on a very significant occasion to me, and so maybe I am rating them higher because of it, but nevertheless they are one of the better cigars out there! Smoked one on my balcony in La Defense one evening, and the other two I am saving for something really important.

FFFX Chili Pepper... although I traded it for a hand full of cigars...
Smoked it with a friend (who also had a Chili Pepper) on his 50th birthday. Also the 17th (i think) year anni. of his triple organ transplant.

And A Siglo VI, a gift from another brother at my first herf.
I alos have a Padron 80th in the humi that Has been there for 7 months, another gift from a fine brother here. I think it will be my New Year's Eve smoke. I thought about it for my Anniversary cigar, but I doubt my wife would like me taking two hours to smoke a cigar on our Anny.

Not sure which was the most costly, but I've had a few Pre-Embargo's that were expensive. Some I didn't think were worth it, but I also had one MC#2 that just about made we wet my pants it was so good.
$150.00 Forbidden X at Casa Fuente with my wife. Worth every penny.

1975 Partagas 898 V but thankfully I didn't pay for it so it made the most fantastic cigar I've had the pleasure of smoking:drool:
