Many of you have probably smoked, or at least heard of, Bahia Cigars. Well, not 24 hours ago, Tony Borhani of Bahia Cigars signed a deal with Miami Cigar & Company. Miami Cigar will be the exclusive distributor for four of Bahia's lines starting September 1st, 2008. I had the privilege of smoking one of Tony's Gold line cigars, and let me tell you these are going to be one of the biggest cigars of the year! Check out the video to hear Tony himself announcing the deal with Miami Cigar and talking about the different blends they will be distributing. These cigars are truly phenomenal, and with Bahia teaming up with Miami Cigar they will surely become one of the top-rated cigars once more.

I was hoping to wait until the launch of my new cigar news/review site to post anything, but this news is too cool not to put out there now! The video was filmed on 7/15/08 at the IPCPR tradeshow in Vegas. Look out for the launch of my website and an in-depth interview with Tony Borhani (and much more!)! A big thank you is in order to Robert from Barlow's for helping set up the interview!

Sorry for the shaky video -- it was the first one I've done, and I could obviously use a bit more practice.

Damn Turkey and it's hate of youtube. Why can't you assholes post videos somewhere else so I can see them. Stupid fitna video and overly sensitive Turkish government.:crying:

Wow. Looks ike someone is getting themselves knee deep into the cigar world. I knew you liked to smoke them, but didn't realize your were getting so in depth. Way cool. As someone said...Livin' the dream.

Yeah, I'd really like to get a job in the tobacco industry some day. The trade show was amazing! I'm working on a video right now to show some of the highlights (at least the things I think are important).

This Bahia news tops my list. I will flat out say that these cigars are going to be Pete Johnson's closest competitor. The cigars are perfect, and Tony has some good guys working for him. Like the one he mentioned in the video, who just came from Cuba a little while back and grew up working on tobacco farms with Alejandro Robaina.
Great cigars, and it'll be the next big thing when the Miami Cigar deal starts on September 1st!!!
