Just wondering what some of the Brothers on here did with there bands and boxes. The bands in particular.
I have an idea to collect as many as possible if different cigars and make a table with them under the glass, only the ones I have smokes of course.
Before some one says something this is obviously not an original idea (I am sure some one has done this). Just asking.

I will use mine on the botton of a large clear glass ashtray so the bands will be visable from the top. Going to start this soon. CAUDIO51 made a very nice collage with his. Volusinator does some nice stuff with boxes and uses banks for some stuff too.

For right now I just keep a band of each different cigar in a static held photo album. Then the subsequent other bands go in a box for something in case I get artistic.

I remember seeing something like that.

I collect the bands, I've thought about the table thing as well.
I collect them for a collage. Looks quite pretty!

I had boxes and boxes of bands and finally got sick of them and gave them to someone who was building a table.

All new sticks I smoke go into my cigar dossier which I purchased 7 years ago (it is now bulging at the seams). The rest of the bands, unless rare either go in the trash or into the local B&M label bucket.

I do colages with mine (and friends). For instance, I'm in the process right now of doing on that is the "logo" of a local B&M.

Any pictures of past work?
Now, I'm curious...

I use to save them but after filling up a coffee can full I wondered what is the use? So, like a dumbass I threw them away and now I have talked with a guy who is able to make ornaments out of them and here I sit with egg on my face.

I usually just throw away the bands as far as empty boxes go they can be used for a number of things and are great for storing loose singles in a cooledore or a convenient place to keep all your cufflinks.

I use them for these coaster you can put pictures into.
I have a Bar serving tray that matches.
It is like doing mini collages in the coasters and tray. I usually only use my super premium and CC bands for this though. The rest I throw out.

Workin on collecting enough- now not just those that I have smoked myself- to collage them on the entire length of a future home-built bar top.
