Any car guys here? I may be a cigar newb, but I've been in every part of a car there is. Wanna put disk brakes on the rear axle of your car? I can tell you what to look for in the junk yard to do it for under $100..haha. My area of expertice is the 4x4 scene, and I know Andy's into all that going fast stuff. Anyone else a motor head here? I spose I could put up a pic of my pride and joy for some inspiration.

Nice jeep!!

What is the John deere tractor in the back ground?

This is an old Bronco that we have at work.

The deere is a 4010 with a 4020 engine. Great tractor, that thing will pull like crazy. It's my dad's, and he's had quite a few friends telling him he needs to enter it in pulls, it's apparently pretty strong. He's not into abusing machinery, so it stays as a farm machine. It's just for a hobby farm, but it sees lots of use. I forgot to put up a poll (woops), so I guess vote yay or nay in your post, or maybe a mod could add it in?

I love the early bronco's, but man, it gets expensive to build those things up. Here's my other jeep, but I usually don't count it because it's completely dismantled. I used the axles from it in my wrangler. Ask Andy about how well brakes sized for a half ton pickup work in a wrangler with sticky tires

Well, now you all know where my user name comes from...I am a bit of a collector. In my direct family there is another wrangler (93, my mom's), and my sister's liberty.

I'm not into cars. I just drive 'em. But I did vote in favor because I'm for anything that continues to make BOTL a well rounded place on the net.

Voted for it. I'm just a drooler when it comes to cars...mainly sports cars. Don't know squat about them, but love to look at them.

I've turned a few wrenches over the years. I also did some SCCA racing and read Autoweek regularly. I like the idea of a forum but I don't know if there would be enough interest/volume to keep it going here.

Cars! Trucks! Motorcycles! Even boats and planes to an extent. You name it and I love reading about it and working on them (most of the time). Heck, check out the links in my siggy and you know what I get to work with all day long.

I'm just starting to get into the Jeep thing. I've like the Wrangler, especially the new extended wheelbase, but with already 1 kid and plans for another in the not to distant future, I'm thinking Cherokee instead. I want to go used so I have minimal payment and have cash to add on toys instead. A friend at work subscribes to JP magazine, so I've been reading all his back issues lately.

I'm into anything with wheels. I'm mostly into the custom min truck scene. I do a lot of air suspensions and custom body work as my hobby. Big rims, low trucks usually make me smile. Especially when you let the air our of the bars and the frame lays down on the ground at 60 mph and all you see in the rear view mirros is a trail of sparks. (or a cop)

I'd rather do one thing well than several things poorly. I vote no. We already talk cars on ocassion in the "parlor" of our comfortable home on the web. The General Discussion area should safice for as often as cars come up.

Just an interesting note: Jeff hasn't been active since his last post here almost 4 months ago.
