When you send in your Xikar cutter for re-sharpening/replacement, do you have to provide any information (read: proof of purchase) with it? I do remember registering it once I got mine a while back but can't remember if that's all thats needed?

I think you can just give your cutter to Ron at Seriois, he'll give you a new one on the spot, then send your old one in to Xikar...

If you are sending It back to the manufacturer, (which obviously, you are) then I don't believe a proof of purchase would be necessary.

Xikar is a great company regarding service. send it back with a note asking for a sharpening. it will be sharpened, or replaced.

I will be selling my Xikar cutter for 50% of retail cost in near future,
haven't had a chance to post the sale yet.
.
It is 1 year old and has maybe been used 20 times at most.
Have a lot of cutters. Metal not plastic, titanium silver color.
.
Any interest, PM me... will f/u for exact price.

I registered mine after I got it so that I could get the free leather case. That should cover it if I have to send it in. When I bought it though my B&M said to bring it to them and they would just give me another one on the spot.

Can't argue with that.
