So, Today I began falling down the already slippery slope of this hobby.

Bought another 50 count humidor and a few sampler packs from Thompson cigars.

The slope is certainly slippery. I started with a 40ct humidor, then a 150ct humidor.. now I've got the 150ct and two coolidors. :cbig:

Don't forget to season your humi and enjoy those smokes.
I got a 50 and a 20. I'd like a 300 but I'd spend even more $$ on cigars

Very nice samplers I did the same thing in September. You are going to have a big problem when you find that you like a cigar. Then you will buy a BOX!! then TWO!! then THREE!! Then you will find that you will have filled a 150 ct humidor and start plans for a Coolerdoor... wait that was me!

Cal nice score in gars and Humi. Next time spend some money on here with the sales section or get ahold of me. Nothing against Thompson but if you want a sampler Ill hook you up for the money:santa2:

I did thompson because of the 3 separate monthly payments, but I'll be sure to check out the sales section next time. I really didn't need to buy anymore but shit happens. lol

Thompson brand cigars suck. IMHO Prices on other cigars are high. Many, many better sites with beter prices. Plus you will now receive Thompson lietrature until you are 90.

I didn't get any of the thompson branded cigars. As I said, the main reason I ordered from there is the fact that i can do 3 seperate monthly payments as I'm on a limited cigar budget.

I did check out CI, FSS, cigar.com, JRcigars, and a couple other sites before I settled on Thompson as it looked like they had the best variety samplers out.

As far as getting spam from them.. Oh well. 90% of the stuff I get is spam anyways and just gets tossed.

True Dat Chuck on the prices and marketing! I bought from Thompson, CI, and, Famous for my first purchases. Someone from Thompson called me. Then I find the RP sampler I bought from them had less cigars and was $15 higher than the one on CI!

Now all you need is to get the coolidor up and running. Then you can really stock up.

It never ends, I saved my $$ bought and 500 cigar humidor thinking it would more than hold what ever I collected, 3 months later I'm already out of room. Plus I saw were the cigar tax was going up in April so need to stock up even more.

You new brand new guys have a long way to go yet. I'm picking up my 28 bottle wine cooler in two & a half weeks. Right now I have three humis & a tuperdore. Keep your eyes open on here as well. A lot of guy will have box splits or sales from time to time. I've scored quite a few sweet deals from other brothers.

And then,,,,,the slope turns into the Devil Site and as you gain speed you will find yourself in a Bermuda Triangle of where to store them and how to get them into your new hiding places without your significant other looking to beat you to the mailbox on delivery day,,( which is Sat. for me on the once a week delivery service )
