Yes that is what the drawer is for, the humifdifier and the timer for the corner fans (also space for accessories such as cutters etc). The three vents in the back of the floor of the cabinet have fans pushing the humid air into the cabinet. The four front vents are for intake air from the cabinet to be humidified and pushed back into the cabinet by the back fans. The fans in the corner are on a timer just for circulation so the humidity stays equal throughout the cabinet.
And thanks for the compliment. I love woodworking as mush as I love cigars. What better combination than building Humidors for those cigars.

I have a JC Pendergast ( fondly named the humiwall ). Its 72"H x 58"W x 20"D and is made from birdseye maple and African Imbura rosewood. It holds 140 boxes and Jim Pendergast built the drawer to store robustos upright. I can squeeze about 450 in the drawer as well.Only humidity controlled but my basement is cool. The neat thing about Pendergasts is you can use tapwater as the mold retardant is built into the system !!

Well, I guess I'll get in here, too. I have a 100 ct Brescia, a 25 count Don Salvatore and a cooler that is around 56 qts, I think. I can never remember. The problem is that I asked for a 120qt cooler for xmas and I got two desktops instead. Its the thought that counts, but I really dislike having 3 different things to maintain and check for humidity, etc. There's just no way I can say, "Well I'm not going to use them." So much thought went into them, I just can't do it. It means a lot when your SO takes and interest in your hobby and goes out of her way to find shops with cool stuff for you. So I'll use them for a few years and then say I have to have an Avallo or something because of the space. In the mean time, I think I am going to get backto storing boxes again. Hey jw, up for a split? hehehe

Aristocrat 100% all the way!!! First choice is the best one... but use the wood/color to match your home, whatever color that is.
I have a manassas. She's been good to me.

Nice!
Tom, the Manassas is similar to the Antietam from BH.

That's a beautiful cabinet. I have 2 150 qt coolers, 1 for CC and 1 for NC, 2 300 ct (not) desktops, 1 for CC and 1 for NC, and 1 50 ct daily humi. Eventually I'll get a nice cabinet humi.

I currently use a 50 qt coolerdor and a 100 ct desktop that sits on top of it. But I hope to have a Haier 42 ct or a Connoisseur from Cheaphumidors.com within 6 months. The decision will come down to how well I think I can keep below 70 in the summer. I'd use one of these for box storage (each should be able to accomodate 30 or so)..and then use my desktop for immediate smokes. But for the time being I'm still just a small time player in the humidor game :crying:

We haven't finalized everything yet, but I think we were discussing roughly 3'Wx3'Hx2'D.
Either way, I need somewhere computer controlled to keep all my long term stuff or vintage. Coolers and uncontrolled Cabs are just no longer for me. I'll still use a 150qt for everyday smoking, but the Heartfelt will certainly be filled by the end of 06. At the rate I've gone recently, I'd say by June would be a more likely scenerio.

Very nice! My humble but growing collection is nothing compared to yours but later this year I'm definitely going to need to do something about a cooled cabinet. Right now I'm using coolers that I keep in my home office upstairs. With the heat rising up there it's hard sometimes to keep the temp below 70.

I hear ya. Be aware, just putting the cooling option on a cab is BALLPARK a 1k investment. I'm paying well over 2k for that bad boy, though options of all sort play into the custom pricing market.

Brian, think about going Wine Cooler for the time being if you don't want to drop the kind of money Craig's talking about. BTW, I LOVE that avatar. Haven't seen it in a while. Just cracks me up.
