Matt from Avallo Humidors will soon be introducing custom door panels in Birdseye Maple, Figured Cherry, etc. There will also be new features added to the Accumonitor humidity control system. The best humidity system is going to get better.

Well, since we are talking DREAMS here ...

Mine would be in a separate cottage away from the main house. Log cabin style with all exposed wood ... about 800 sq ft. Inside would be temp controlled and with a professional grade air filtration system. I would have a small walk-in humidor (maybe about 6' x 6'). The rest of the room would be pool table, big screen TV, poker table, bar, small kitchen, and a couple big leather chairs + sleeper sofas.

Other than that ... an Aristocrat Plus in Cherry with a nice etched glass front panel would do.

Well with all this talk of hitting the Lottery and how to take payments ... that was in my dream too.

(I won $85 million and took the lump sum ...)

Sorry, but if I ever win the lottery all you get is the Aristocrat Plus. :hysterica

It won't be this year, but next year I plan on an Avallo Cooled DDD.

Anyone else prefer the brushed silver look to brass? Our whole house is brushed silver so I'd have to go with that. As to the actual cabinet? Too tough to decide...but I think I'd want to be able to see what's inside so I'm guessing glass doors. Beyond that, if money were no object, I'd be using very very figured wood (crotch?). And of course, it would have to be cooled!

It'll be interesting to see what we've all got 5 years from now!

1 year from now for me hopefully....hehe

cvm4
08-21-2005, 09:46 PM
Oh, and JW...I'd probably go with the brushed aluminum look too. The gold is too much old school style.

I like the brushed 'silver' look as well.

Been trying to save my nickels for the Aristocrat M or M-plus cooled cabinet. Too darn hot in the summer here, and it's been a real battle this summer over the home's A/C controls.

I agree. Those humidors look amazing thought!

sunivy

I'd also stick with the coolerador approach if it weren't for the fact that most houses where I live don't have basements, so temp control is a big problem.

Ron,
Will we be able to upgrade our current systems?

My dream humidor would be a walk-in. I have plans on building one in the area under my stairs where a walk in coat closet is now or I plan on building a smoke room/ walk-in in the garage.

Bob does great work as all of the photos show. My Aristocrat "m" has worked great since day one, 4 years ago. Just need more space so I can order more cigars :0)

And on that note, I am off to dreamland with visions of naked, cigar giving girls....wrapped in cedar of course for that extra spice.

I would love to convert a room to a smoking room and walk-in humidor with a temp controlled wine closet.

I would have a big TV, fully stocked bar and nice furniture to relax on.

Maybe when the kids get older and go to college.

I'd want individual lockers for each brand so things are easier to find.

http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/9875/cab1om0.jpg

And large drawers at the bottom for 50 cabs.

http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/928/cab2ef8.jpg

And a large area to put jars and commemorative items.

http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8741/cab3zw9.jpg

Would need a display section to show off the pretties and keep the current smoking boxes in.

http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/7517/cab4zk6.jpg

And it would be great to have in in front of my desk so I could look at it all day long.
