Wooooooooo...close one folks. Posted the standings after the early games over at office-pools.com
In the lead right now are myself, Tobby4, Jgbutler and MikeMiketa.

It looks like it will remain close... we all have similar picks for the rest of the round...
Detriot winning could change everything. Looks like CMT is sitting pretty at this point with Detriot and the only San Fran Pick.

The leaders now have no comfort levels that's for sure.
Dallas-SD is a toss up at the moment. Det ahead with seemingly endless penalties to the Pack. And the group is evenly split with the Arizona-NY game with all of the current leaders picking Arizona...

So how does this work anyway, total wins or weeks won?
We could end up with a tie for first this week if Phili wins, in which case Ashy, Vince and CMT would be tied.

Phily vs ATL is the tie breaker game, but there is also the tie breaker score. GO PHILLY! ;)

Tie breaker score?
At the bottom of the screen when you entered your picks they also asked for a score incase of a tie.
Looks like i was the only one to enter a score, :razz: damn should have told you guys about that :grinFU:

I guess I missed the score part. I was wondering how the game itself could be the tie breaker.
Looks like each week they designate one game to be the tie breaker, this week was Philly vs ATL

Its the monday night game of each week that is the tie breaker.

Still wondering how the overall scoring is going to work? Is it number of weeks won at the end of the year, or total number of wins picked? If it's the second then the tie-breakers really don't matter. :dunno:

HAHAHA....Suckers. As most of you know, or not. I lost my job last week and am now ISO a job. :hanghead: So I can't tie up my computer at home, I still have dial up that ties up my phone line. So I will post as I can get on.
Tie breakers is only on Monday night games if I remember correct, it only effects the top two or any two people that tie in any givin week of play that comes to a tie. It really does not efftect anyone until later in the season. First couple of weeks are anybodies games, to early to tell anything, but not to soon to get ahead. :thumbsup:

I had the worst weekend I have EVER had.... oh well I am 2-0 in my fantasy league
What a crazy weekend in NFL. :bigeyes: Well, two games on tonight. Good for us who watch the games but sucks for us in pools like this. It's more of a chance for me to loose the lead.
Remember, it's a LONG season. Don't give up if your falling short. The leaders will have bad weeks and that will give shots at others to jump from the bottom to the top.
Oh and,What the fu** is up with my Texans..................... :shame:

in my real fantasy league, I opted for highly ranked RB kevin jones again, leaving cadillac williams on the bench. i won't EVER do that again. ever.
and since when does KC not throw TD balls to Gonzalez all game long? he was supposed to be my extra points guy. of course, the guy I played had McNabb starting, who got 40 something pints with his 5 td passes. :boxing:

Go to Scores....then pool overall totals.
OK, lets think here. I'm avg. about 9 or less wins a week. There a what 13-14 games a week. These past two weeks have been damn good to me but all my picks will soon change as teams get the groove set in and start fucking me up. The first three weeks are anyones guess.
I think last year I started around 60% wins by the third week. I was running neck and neck for almost most of the season with other players. I just stayed that 1 game ahead of eveyone till the end then, BAM put my foot down...............Be scared. Be very scared....

I believe it's the former. If it's the latter I'm SOOTRs.
I had to get my picks in today, I'm not ready to pick but I can't follow shit because this storm. :argh: Get them in today before the power goes out.
