Was in Richmond, VA this week in a shop and had to pick one of these up. I've heard some great things and wanted to give it a try.
Davidoff Puro D'Oro Notable
Dominican puro
5 5/8 x 46
Yamasa Wrapper
$15.00

Oily Wrapper, firm construction, and looks amazing.
1/4" Punch on the pig tail wrapped Yamasa wrapper.
Pre-light draw was perfect for me with a hint of spice and a flavor I could best describe as cinnamon. My pallet isnt as refined as some on here, but the flavor was amazing.
1st Third:
This cigar lit up and started effortlessly with tons of smoke. The burn started off a bit crazy but settled down. The ash actully started to split and looked like jaws. lol.

Into the first third the the the burn evened out and the flavors I got were mostly leather with just that same hint of spice, but the smoke output was amazing.

Starting into the 2nd third the ash finally fell off and the spice faded, but it definitely was a showing the full body i was expecting.

Into the final 3rd the burn had totally corrected itself and the heavy leather and earth flavors were there. Smoke and draw were still spot on and I was definitely enjoying it for all it was worth.

This cigar finished up nice with a total burn time of about an hour and 10 minutes. It was all that I expected it to be and by far the best Davidoff I have ever had. At $15 a stick it's not one that I would smoke everyday, but one that I will always have around for a special occasion. Hope you all like it as much as I did!!
