In coming years, Lane's X OPUS X plates became well-known throughout the force.

Three months before the crash, police pulled over Lane in his 1995 Ferrari, saying he had been going 80 mph in a 45 mph zone on Fabyan Parkway - the same road where the fatal crash later occurred. He was to appear in court Nov. 8 for that ticket.

I've read it and it was a long article that shows you gotta have money and connections to get away with anything...Almost :innocent:

This happened less than 15 minutes from my home...could have been my family.

I hope the judges who gave him repeated supervisions in order to "take care" of their fellow lawyers feel at least a twinge of guilt for letting this guy keep his license and his ability to kill two innocents.
