Favorite Beverage with a Cigar?

I usually have coffee with my morning smoke on the way to work. In the evenings I'll have water most of the time. I am not a big liquor drinker, I'm quite a wuss in that regard.

Either a fuller bodied beer or ale (Guinness, Anchor Steam Porter, Negra Modelo), or good old fashioned Vodka (Stoli, Skyy).

Most of my daytime smokes are with water while my home smokes at night are hopefully with a nice port. :blob:

I don't drink anything when smoking a cigar. If I have to (To wash down bits of tobacco, or when I go into spasmodic coughing from choking on my own saliva... nice, huh? :wtf: ) it's just water.

I've tried sampling cigars with different beverages, but I found that I like JUST the flavor of the cigar. I do see where coffee would go well, but I only drink that a few times a year. Different strokes, I guess.

Basically most of my summer smokes I had with a big glass of water. It was more to keep my mouth from drying out so I could enjoy the taste of the cigar alone

Water, iced tea, soda, beer, scotch, rum and bourbon are all options ... it just depends on the time of day and the cigar.

Matching cigars and drinks is great fun ... in general I'm a scotch drinker but rum or coffee seem to go extremely well with most nay cigar.

I like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale if I am enjoying my cigar in the evening. Diet Coke with Lime is my choice at other times. Both just seem to "refresh" my mouth allowing me to enjoy my cigar more. :smokingme

When I was younger, I once had a Strawberry Blunt whilst drinking hot chocolate.
