Frog Morton Blends

I'm gonna go and check the B&M near work for some. Any input or opinions on these blends?

They are all pretty decent balkan blends (re: heavy on the Latakia). They tend to be a bit on the wet side right out of the tin, so you might need to dry out somewhat before smoking. Not strong at all, but lots of sweet + smokey flavors to keep it interesting.

On the Town adds Basma for some earthiness
On the Bayou adds Perique for some spiciness
Across the Pond uses Syrian Latakia in place of some of the Cyprian for a lighter, more complex flavor.

I have tried Frog Morton, On the Bayou, and Across the pond now. Across the Pond was very good and sweet. I had just had a fluoride treatment before the Bayou though so I will have to revisit that one.

I have both FMOTB and FMOTP. I have only tried on the Bayou. It was really good. Spicy! But that's how we like it here. :wink:

I tried On the Bayou last weekend while playing poker...it was very good!
