It's been on order for more than a month but it's finally here...my first pro level lens, the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM (http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=149&modelid=11924) zoom. Really put a dent in my cigar budget but so far, it looks to be worth it.

I'm gonna have to take it out to play and have an extra nice cigar this weekend.

awesome. that sucks that I lost my canon account.

about 4 years ago I purchased some copiers for a client. the transaction put me over the minimum required to open one up, so I did. that was a fun year. I ordered a bunch of shit just because I could only to crack them open and then send them back.

the image stabilizer binoculars are a blast to play with.

NICE. Congrats.

A guy I work with got a similar lens (I guess...) a few months ago and for him it was a choice between the lens or a cruise.

I'll stick with cigars... I've never had to decide between cigars or a cruise.
