Any one else try this Christmas beer?
its a oak aged Vanilla Beer made this year.

This really supprised me at how good it is.
I am not a big domestic beer drinker but this so different from the usual.

This Holiday Beer has a ABV of 10% and is nice and smooth.

It retailed here for $8.99 for a bottle that is 1 pint 8 oz

This is one I am going to pick up a few and let age a bit and see what it tastes like.
I give big kudos to Micheob on a well done Lager.


Now to get some more Fuller's aging!!!

Haven't had it. Maybe I will pick up a bottle.

I am more of a microbrew guy myself.

It seems like Michelob is trying to compete with the microbrews and brands like sam adams lately.

I like some of the bavarian ales out there that come in almost wine type bottles. Higher alocohol percentage and a bit fruitier but still a little hoppy.

Bavarians are nice.

Side note I had a Dogfishhead that was about 21% ABV. It was from '03

eh... i might have to give it a try, although to be honest I am not much of a holiday brew fan...

I had lunch with a friend the other day and they had Sam Adams winter ale on tap. Thats some good stuff.

Had one today.

I like all the Sam seasonals. Summer might be my favorite though.

I have a case of the Sam Adams Seasonals and I don't even drink. :dunno:

We def should. I didn't realize there are that many guys around me.

Josh is maybe an hour north of me and jc is about an hour south.

We should organize Todd's next herf for him.

Just get a bunch of people to show up on his doorstep on a Saturday with food , cigars and liquor and then invite Todd.:rofl:
