I am putting together/finding a sampler for my girlfriends Aunt. She is giving this to a co-worker. I know nothing other than the fact he smokes cigars. She wants me to staty domestic and keep it around $30. I have a few ideas but hey, here is one of the reasons I post here right?:headroll:

Check out the Holiday Survival Kit on closeout from Holts. It's worth it just for the case. I check out the specials weekly.

Tom you can also pick this up at the Townsend location to save on shipping. You just need to call and have them put it aside.

Good to know. Certainly gives me an excuse to go buy some stuff for myself!

What would you guys reccomend from their samplers page?

That "CAO Conmemorativo Sampler" looks good. :drool:

The CAO sampler looks good. They make a pretty good cigar IMVHO. Nice broad stroke of vitoli (vitolas?) too.

I was thinking of going with a multi brand sampler, just in case he hates CAO for instance.

Very good idea Tom.

It is so hard to gift cigars out...I just gift what I like so that way you know they are good.

It is hard, maybe because we are all so OCD. I am gonna choose one of those samplers...maybe a medium bodied one and throw some of my sticks in an extra box I have.
