my haul today

I waited too long and missed out on most of the Anejos, BUT:
(note the low MSRP with Texas' REASONABLE tobacco tax)

1. I just bought 13 various anejos from a member's stash from last year, which was a great production run.

2. I DID manage to get (went to 3 stores) one each (at MSRP) of anejo #48 ($9.50), 49 ($10.50), and 50 ($8.75). that was from the one store that had anejos (they enforced the limit on me, which they NEVER do!:angerhead ).

3. from all 3 stores, I got (3) Untold Stories ($14.75), (5) Hemi Classic Maddies ($8.25), and (5) Hemi Signature maddies ($7.25).

am I gloating a little? maybe. do I care? no.

Now, I only hope to have some of these left by the end of next year. my goal (often futile) is to gradually build a stash, always having a few aging.

I am still PISSED that I only got 3 Anejos, since that means I'll have to locate more, somehow, or try to hide these for a few years.

Nice... i keep telling myself that i am going to check my local stores, but have yet to do it... I was even in 2 different shopping centers that had local stores in them the past 2 days and have been to damn busy to go in and check.....

What I REALLLY wanted, I couldn't get. The owner kept it for herself...
