The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.
A very tasty beer. Very drinkable and not too sweet as you would think.

Wine right? Supposed to be very floral/fruity?

I like a nice Riesling myself. It goes well with Turkey for the Holiday dinner.

Have you tried the Riesling from Hogue? I find it to be very sweet and fruity. I like dry wines so I don't really care for it but it's a good wine.

Tonight will most likely be Newcastle... maybe just a few pitchers....
and yes Hogue Reisling is actually pretty good... I am not a huge white wine drinker and really not a sweet white drinker but Hogue is actually pretty good. I am buying my mom some for Christmas, as well as some Red Zin....
