My first time with the stone was ok. I did not preheat the stone :smt022
It did not come with instructions ...but I did look on the internet afterwards.

Agreed. And if you don't want to spend $$$ on a stone, just go down to Home Depot/OSH and pick up a piece of unglazed quarry tile. Costs about a buck for a
square foot piece (clean it first). Acts the same as a pizza stone and if it breaks, they are easy to replace.

Had a chili pizza last week. Best to make it with a premade dough.
Tonight was just a peporoni and extra cheese pizza.

Pizza stones are great. We use the bread machine to make the dough. We make a nice white pie with broccoli

That is some of the best chili! I loved going to Skyline whenever I visited Cinci...this was a few years ago when I was still living and working in Columbus, Indiana.

When I make pizzas at home, I make sure to put on a topping that I was turned on to in Japan... corn. Yummmm.

Corn on pizza? Never heard of it..doesn't hurt to try new things though. I love me some homeade pizza...or any pizza for that matter.
I would have to say that pizza accounts for between 10 and 25 percent of my overall food intake for any given month.
If I make pizze at home, I use Pesto sauce (the green stuff) with some chicken and asparagus on top covered in Mozzarrela cheese.

I make one close to that. Ham and artichoke with garlic and mozz.
The pesto sauce is a great alternative because I really get tired of the red sauce (forgot what it is called). My favorite would have to be alfredo sauce with just mozzarello on top.

DiGiorno sells some excellent Pesto sauce. They also sell great Alfredo sauce. I'll have to look into making a pizza with Alfredo and mozzarella. That sounds really good. Maybe with some chicken on top too.
Definitely Jason  It's good chit! Use alfredo for a base with mozz and then chicken and bits of bacon on top...DEVINE! :guitar:

Yeah bacon with the chicken too. That sounds awesome Cliff. What do you use for the crust? Boboli?
I just pickup a pre-cooked pizza crust at the grocery store :dunno: I don't make that stuff from scratch :hysterica

Haha, I know that Cliff...me either. I'm an idiot in the kitchen. Boboli is the pre-cooked stuff in a vacuum bag. I didn't know if that's what you used or not. I guess they're all the same.
Yea I actually haven't made a pizza in a while so I really just forgot what it's called :dunno: But it's definitely good chit

Chicken Marsala pizza? I need to get out more...and try new things. I probably eat more pizza in a month than 90 percent of America and I haven't even heard of some of this stuff.
Any pizza buffets around you? :dunno:

The pizza shops around here also have BBQ chicken slice, buffalo chicken, chicken parm and a lot more I can't think of right now...
