I will miss the legacy ABC and MNF gave to us. My opinion is that the decisions of the past decade have been made by TV executives and not fans of the game, and that this was lost by ABC, not taken away. I have a very cautious hope that ESPN will improve the production, but is today's Sunday night really any better?

Yes I'm afraid it will never be the same. Especially if it's anything like they do on Sunday night. ESPN just about killed Sunday night football for me. :barf:

I dont know I like Sunday Night....... but i think that the prestige of Monday night in and of itself might help ESPN implement some changes..

I am just thankful it has gone to ESPN... Now I will be able to watch the Sunday Night games as well as the Monday Night games in HD :thumbsup:

Geez I totally disagree with you. I find Al to be a complete buffoon. I'm tried of his rantings and he never shuts up. The bastage even talks over folks and explains the obvious. I really miss the day's of Howard and Dandy Don.

It looks like ABC might be getting out of sports. I read today that they'll be dropping golf coverage in 2007!

All the networks that had golf coverage say they lost money on the last big contract they signed. I guess Tiger only playing in 15-20 events a year has started to kill them. They need him to play in as many tournaments as VJ Singh!
